In 1974, our parish was born. For over 35 years, our parish family has been proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in Albuquerque. As the only Eastern Catholic parish in New Mexico, we have a unique mission to proclaim the truth as handed down from the Eastern Fathers in our Liturgy and other ministries.
An eastern Catholic church in full communion with Pope Benedict XVI of Rome, we are part of the Ruthenian church in the Eparchy of the Holy Protection of Mary.
If you are searching for a spiritual home, please consider coming to our liturgy. The heart of our church is our liturgy in which we meet God, receive the Holy Mysteries, study the Scriptures, and are instructed in our ancient faith.
Our icons made the local news. Channel 7 showed up at our church looking for a story on miracles. Although the reporter was trying to find another church, her GPS kept bringing her here. The church was closed, but Poncho (see our staff page) was outside...Click on this text to go to the Channel 7 story.
The annual New Mexico March for Life
January 18, 2012
One out of Five new American children are killed by abortion each year.
The Catholics and many other Christians go to Santa Fe each year to protest the destruction of innocent life in the state.
In past years, the legislature has been heavily corrupted by the cash rich abortion industry, and the last governor was openly anti-life and pro-abortion.
The new governor is pro-life, and the legislature is heavily influenced by popular displays, so we are hoping to change the culture of death in New Mexico.
Our little parish was well represented at the March for Life. As a percentage, we may have been the most heavily represented parish in the state except for the Cathedral. Here are a few photos from the events.

Pro-abortionists were few but shouted obscenities throughout the march.
